Success is earned, one step at a time. One of the most invaluable skills a person can have is being able to clearly express what they want.

Cephas Dodd Sharp

Cephas Dodd Sharp, son of Zachariah and Elizabeth (Yoders) Sharp, was born June 21, 1834, at Amity, Washington county, PA.

He was among the first to volunteer for the 3 months’ service, and enlisted as a private in Company E, 12th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment. For a time they were employed in guarding railroads, and then he returned home with zeal dampened by the harsh experiences of field life. But he possessed the true spirit of a warrior, and in 1862, with several friends, once more volunteered his services.

This time he enlisted as Sergeant in Company D, 140th P. V. I., and participated in the engagements of that regiment until his death. He was in the battle of Chancellorsville, and was one of the martyrs who fell at bloody Gettysburg. On July 2, 1863.

Work Hard

Sometimes the hardest part of finding success is gathering the courage to get started. As long as you’re learning, you’ll never really fail.

Sweet Success

The most successful people don’t look back to see who’s watching. Look for opportunities to lift others up along the way.
